In the December Holidays it is common to face intense emotions and excess eating. Yoga practice helps to stay physically and mentally healthy. Start with a short and simple practice, the important thing is perseverance and you will notice its benefits. Have a nice holiday!

1-Vrksasana (tree pose)

Balancing poses help focus the mind and keep it in the present.

2-Utthita Trikonasana

Eliminates leg and hip stiffness, relieves back pain and stiff neck, as well as strengthening ankles. (This is good for dancers!)

3-Adho Mukha Svanasana (Downward facing dog)

It helps to rest the heart and calm down the mind. Leaning your head on a block or cushion helps to calm the mind and focus on the present.

4-Supta Badha Konasana

You can practice this posture after a big meal. It helps with digestion and reduces stomach ache. It also helps to restore your energy and fight depression.

5- Sidhasana

A classic meditation posture, which by keeping your back upright, keeps your brain level. You can sit in a chair if you can’t keep your back straight. Close your eyes and focus on the rhythm of your breathing for 5-10 minutes.
